Who We Are?
Por las Ramas is an independent cultural production and research project. Exploring stories, music, identity, communities and visual culture through film, photography, research and collaborative projects.
"Por las ramas"
“Por las ramas” is a spanish expression for when you are beating around the bush in a conversation.
We took the essence of this expression to create a project that will reflect our passion for culture with the purpose of communicate, share and give visibility to talent, stories, tradition, initiatives…
Our experience
We are a two-person production company with backgrounds in journalism and engineering, with experience in radio, over ten years of experience in photography, and four years in filmmaking.
We continue to develop our technical skills, but what brought us together is a shared interest in culture, art, people and storytelling.
How we work
We approach each project by spending time understanding the context and the people involved. Whether it’s a short documentary or a music video, we prioritise natural interactions and real moments over scripted setups.
